The Alcalde Hotel has been an iconic building in Gonzales since it was first built in 1926. Originally designed to be a 5-story building, the original owners decided to stop at three stories due to a long story we can tell you once you are here. We have 18 guest rooms, and we are family owned and operated. Our desire is to make you feel like part of the family. We have hosted guests in the past such as Bonnie and Clyde, Elvis and various actors and musicians. Don't miss the chance to see this incredible hotel and interesting town.
