House Rules & Policies – The Alcalde Hotel
Welcome to The Alcalde Hotel! We are honored to host you in our family-owned and operated boutique hotel. To ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay for all guests, please take a moment to review our house rules and policies:
PARKING & ENTRY:
You will receive a parking map following this message. Parking is located off St. Peter Street, where you’ll find the hotel’s designated lot. For added convenience, the back entrance can be accessed using a code that will be provided the day of your stay., typically needed during evening or early morning hours.
ROOM KEYS:
Your room keys will be waiting at the front desk. As a small family-run property, our front desk is not staffed 24/7, but we have a manager that lives on property so we are always available by call or text should you need anything. We recommend keeping one key in your vehicle and one on your person in case of accidental lockouts. Once inside, your key will also unlock the front door for easy access during your stay.
QUIET HOURS:
Built nearly 100 years ago, The Alcalde features original wood floors and staircases that may creak. We strive to maintain a peaceful and quiet environment for all guests. Please respect our quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM and be courteous to your fellow travelers.
TV & ENTERTAINMENT:
All rooms feature Roku TVs. Popular apps are pre-installed, and we’re happy to download others upon request. You may log into your personal streaming accounts but please remember to log out before departure. (Note: We do not offer traditional cable.)
AMENITIES:
- Ice Machine: Located on the first floor in the utility room next to the elevator.
- Coffee & Microwave: Available in the hallway and downstairs lobby and in all suites
- Mini Fridge & Freezer: Included in every room and all suites.
- Smoking: The hotel is a non-smoking facility. Designated smoking areas are located behind the building with proper receptacles provided. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building. ($500 fine)
WI-FI:
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

- Check-in: 4:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
Cancellation Policies
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made
at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled check-in time (4:00 PM CST) to avoid charges. Reservations canceled within 24 hours of check-in will be subject to a charge equal to
one night's stay plus applicable taxes. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the first night.
We understand that plans can change and will do our best to accommodate when possible. Please contact us directly as soon as you know you need to adjust your reservation.
